Abstract The MK33-221Ex-HLi/24VDC is designed to isolate and power two 2-wire HART® transmitters in a hazardous location and repeat the transmitter's current signals to control equipment in a non-hazardous location. The voltage supplied to the transmitters is a constant 17 volts throughout the 0-20 mA range. The output circuits may be connected to loads up to 500 W. Three wire passive transmitters may also be used instead of two wire HART® devices. The input, output, and supply circuits are galvanically isolated from each other.
