Abstract The IOM-1964 is an input/output module that connects to the motion controller cards from Galil, providing optically isolated buffers for the extended inputs and outputs of the controller. The IOM-1964 also provides 16 high power outputs capable of 500mA of current per output point. The IOM-1964 separates the 64 I/O points into eight banks of eight I/O points each, corresponding to the eight banks of extended I/O on the controller. These banks are denoted as Bank0 through Bank7.
