Micropac Industries, Inc., located in Garland, Texas, was established in 1963 as a custom hybrid microcircuit manufacturer. In order to strengthen the company's position in the marketplace, the Microcircuits Division of Varo, Inc., was acquired in 1969, with equipment, technology, employees and customer base transferred to Micropac.
