Advanced Planning and Scheduling tools help planners and schedulers come up with optimal and feasible plans for a unit, plant or group of plants. Products include:
- ASSAY2 manages crude assay data, including blending crude oils and calculated properties of fractions.
- BLEND is an offline program for multi-period blend planning and event-based scheduling that optimizes logistics and quality.
- Production Scheduler helps simulate and optimize a schedule, allowing schedulers to more easily work with logistics and equipment availability, and see the effect of changes on the schedule.
- Refining and Petrochemical Modeling System (RPMS) is an LP tool for site-wide planning with the ability to handle complex multi-facility and multi-period models with a graphical user interface.
- SAND is an LP tool for optimizing logistics and distribution for multiple sites.
Blending and Movement Automation helps plan, control and track manufacturing performance for offsites, control optimum in-line blending and control material movements. Products include:
- Blending Instructions manages instructions with a list of operations to be performed from a scheduling system, and provides the blend controller the recipe details it needs to execute each blend.
- Blend Management provides a database with historical blending information that collects data from a variety of sources and calculates various performance metrics.
- Blend Property Control (BPC)/OpenBPC provide advanced property control for online blend control and optimization by dynamically adjusting the blend recipe based on analyzer feedback.
- Blend Ratio Control (BRC) and Experion Blend Controller (EBC) control inline blending and multi-component blend sequences while monitoring equipment malfunctions and process upsets.
- Production Tracker handles material movements such as receipts, shipments, blends, unit feeds, rundowns and tank-to-tank transfers.
Operations Management tools are for systematic monitoring, setting daily operating targets, shift logging and handover, and managing lab data. Products include:
- Event Monitoring software detects, records, and communicates operating events in a process plant.
- Lab Data Integrator imports data from third-party LIMS products, improving plant operational efficiency through timely access to quality data for production management, product quality and other essential functions.
- Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) is a full laboratory information management system with tools to schedule and log samples, manage lab operations and provide long-term storage for quality data, security and auditing.
- Operating Instructions communicate the operating plan to operators.
- Operations Logbook is an electronic log to record comments, track daily to-do items and prepare the shift handover report.
- Operations Monitoring systematically monitors process data against limits and reports deviations.
Performance Management tools provide a common view of information with graphical tools, performance metrics and calculations. Products include:
- BizCalc Manager handles aggregation and summary calculations.
- KPI Manager helps define and track key performance indicators.
- Workcenter provides graphical displays, trends, search tools and a framework to organize a wide variety of information from many different sources.
Production Management tools track, determine and report production, material use and inventory. Products include:
- Batch Tracking tracks the genealogy of finished batches of products through a plant.
- Business Hiway Classic and XML Service integrate Honeywell applications with other products such as SAP and other ERP systems. Business Hiway XML Service makes use of newer technology for secure, open document exchange.
- Lot Tracing tracks the disposition of raw material lots.
- Production Analyst compares plans to actual results.
- Production Balance does a material balance around a plant or process unit and uses a statistical data reconciliation algorithm to identify problems such as missing movements.
- Production Control Center (PCC) offers tools for operations and production management for the oil and gas industry, especially offshore platforms, featuring:
- Utilities such as trending and reporting
- Safety applications such as Production Event Analyzer and Shutdown Analyzer
- Production applications such as Production Summary
- Well Test Manager
- Turbo Suite for compressor and turbine performance analysis
