Dataforth Corporation, Tucson, AZ, offers a DSCL24 series of configurable single channel and multi-channel isolators. Each DSCL24 module provides full three-way isolation with 2300Vrms CMV input to output and 3700Vrms CMV power supply to I/O protection. The modules can all be DIN rail or panel mounted. They are designed to prevent the transfer of interference voltages or currents and to break signal distorting ground loops.

The factory configurable DSCL24 multi-channel modules allow up to 250+ different I/O settings. The factory default setting provides 4 to 20mA input and output current; users also can provide the factory with instructions for their own specific configurations.

The jumper configurable single channel DSCL24 modules provide up to 36 different I/O settings. A unique snap-in tool allows users to easily extract the module's circuit board and reposition the jumpers for different I/O requirements.

Two model versions of both the single and multi-channel DSCL24 modules are offered: one accepts universal power of 24 to 60V AC/DC, the other accepts 85 to 230V AC/DC. The AC usage accepts 45 to 400Hz power.

All modules offer accuracy of ±0.1% span (typical) and ±0.2% span (max). Other features include no required recalibration or maintenance and narrow DIN rail packaging that can mount up to 27 modules in a 19" rack space. The operating temperature is -25°C to +55°C, and the storage temperature is -40°C to +70°C.
