The CX-1010 is perfect for applications that need to accommodate a wide range of changing configurations. The universal motor speed control provides precise digital control to virtually any drive. It accepts pulse type speed sensors of many types. Whether for mixing, blending, conveyor control, web handling, extruders, the CX-1010 is the intelligent control choice.

Programmed Intelligence:

CONTREX® has embedded motion control intelligence into the CX-1010. No code to write. Applied intelligence eliminates the expense and time for end user application programming. Flexible and adaptable, simply choose configurations from menu selection rather than writing code. The CX-1010 establishes a new level of user control.

Greater Resolution and Response:

CX-1010 offers high performance with a 1msec loop time. Handles high encoder frequencies up to 180kHz. Provides closed loop speed regulation with zero cumulative error.

Built-In PLC:

PLC capability includes timer/counter comparator and batching function. PLC permits customizing at installation. I/O port functions are reassignable.

Factory Automation:

The 32-bit microprocessor can be easily integrated into any factory automation scheme. Addressable two-way communications makes the CX-1010 ideal for distributed control, providing interrogate, download and command functions, with direct access to control parameters for simple setup and monitoring. Access to all control and monitor variables is through either the RS485 serial communications port or the operator interface. DDE drivers are available for linking Windows® 95/98/2000 and Windows NT®.

Integrated Operator Interface:

Integrated menu driven, multilane displays and keypad allows control over display information and also to enter numeric data. Configurable screens help to simplify operator data. Display is LCD with 14 lines of 21 characters. Key functions are clearly labeled. Operator friendly, and data has English labels. It provides access to all control and monitor variables.

Preset Control Blocks:

Comes with eight preset control blocks. Blocks can be selected on the fly to create new or modified operating configurations. Processes both Velocity and Position information. There are six limits and alarms. Offers wide flexibility in setup adjustments; set points can be created and changes easily, as can tuning, alarms and scale factors. Operates in Master and Follower with inverse and offset variations. An optional general equation handles most non-standard control requirements.

Fully Optically Isolated:

It has isolated input/output to minimize vulnerability to noise in harsh environments.

Analog Card Option:

Features an analog optional card, 2 in and 1 out channels. Accommodates analog signals from dancer, flow, diameter, tension controllers and sensors.
