  • AirGuard 525A-3 Wireless Access Points
AirGuard 525A-3 Wireless Access Points provide access point, gateway, bridge/repeater, and mesh networking for wireless applications. They're FIPS 140-2 tested and validated by the National Institutes of Standards and Technology (NIST).

The unit's Turbo A and Super G capabilities permit broad wireless network implementation. In access point and gateway modes, it can establish links to laptops, PDAs, and other wireless devices at rates from 11 Mbps to 54 Mbps. Turbo A and Super G modes also support speeds up to 108 Mbps in mesh networking, repeater, or bridging applications.

These units have a wide range of security applications. In less sensitive environments, a legacy WEP encryption system can be used. For federal government applications, the units use highly secure encryption like AES, AES-CCM, or 3DES, all of which have been approved by NIST for use in government wireless networks.

The AirGuard Wireless Access Points are easy to configure with the AirGuard Wireless Management System. It forbids unauthorized network access, detects and reports rogue access points and users, and manages and monitors the entire network.

    Crypto Client Software
Crypto Client Software provides simple configuration and use as well as AES and 3DES encryption — advanced, interoperable 802.11i wireless security for the most sensitive networks. These standards, which are FIPS 140-2 validated, pass muster with the federal government for use in wireless environments.

In addition to federal government wireless installations, this software is perfect for the financial services industry, educational institutions, health care, and manufacturing.
