Entrelec products offer you the opportunity to select which connection technology fits your wiring needs. If choosing a product for areas of corrosion or vibration, look at our spring and ADO (IDC) system to meet those strict requirements. These terminal blocks are RoHS compliant.

Screw clamp connection accepts solid or stranded wire, with or without ferrules and accepts two wires per clamp. The clamp is equipped with a highly reliable self locking system which avoids screw loosing –vibration resistance. Screw clamp terminal blocks are SCCR rated.

Spring clamp connection is simple, quick, corrosion and vibration resistant. The jumpering channels, two per block saves space by allowing jumpering of the same block. Space saving top wiring means free space on the side of the blocks and it reduces space between the rails.

The ADO connection system (IDC, insulation displacement connection) is both corrosion and vibration proof. With the ADO system, you save time and money. The ADO system is 80% faster than screw connections. Entrelec offers the largest selection of ADO (IDC) terminal blocks.

Absolute Rail Design Program - Fast, Accurate, Terminal Block Design

ABB's Absolute Rail Design software redefines the term user friendly. The user can design and layout a complete terminal block rail assembly, without detailed instructions. Search functions allow the user to search for terminal blocks and accessories by connection technology, block function, voltage, amperage and wire gauge. An additional search field allows the user to search by part number or description. Simply click on the "Display Catalog Page" button to view the data sheet in PDF format. Absolute Rail Design can export marker tag files directly into ABB's AMS500 plotter software program. This enables a seamless transition from marker tag creation to final plotted marker cards. Absolute Rail Design is available on CD or can be downloaded from www.abb-control.com. The CD-ROM includes the AMS500 software and a handy conversion program.
